Dr. Myron A. Harvey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Capital University & University of South Florida. He obtained both his Master’s and his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Dr. Harvey joins us as a Licensed Psychologist and is an integral member of our interdisciplinary healthcare treatment team. Here he evaluates and treats patients to help assist them in pain management mechanisms including, but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, biofeedback, and coping mechanisms for pain. Dr. Harvey also works with patients who have additional diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder. By promoting important health and mental health outcomes he makes significant impacts on the quality of life of our patient population.
Before joining our team, Dr. Harvey had over 35 years of success in designing, providing, and evaluating services in health care, education, and many other industries. He has provided evidence-based clinical and consulting services for individuals, families, and organizations to help discover, develop, and deploy best talents, cognitive abilities, interests, and motivational characteristics. In addition to founding a clinical and consulting psychology firm, Dr. Harvey has been an adjunct faculty member, presenter, and program facilitator for multiple colleges throughout his career.
Dr. Harvey is married and has one daughter who lives in North Carolina. His hobbies include sailing, hiking, reading, and daily exercise.
